Job summary

Oak Valley Hospital District in Oakdale, CA is seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse for our Medical-Surgical department. The RN will assess patient/family health problems and lead the nursing care plan, providing professional care across general surgery, orthopedic, pediatric, family practice and internal medicine.

Qualifications include California RN license, BSN preferred, 1 year acute care/ Med-Surg experience preferred, and current BLS, PALS, ACLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an RN program and California RN license.
• One year acute care experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field required or preferred.
• Current AHA BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and family health problems and resources.
• Lead development, implementation and evaluation of the nursing care plan.
• Provide professional nursing care and interventions for medical-surgical patients across multiple service lines (general surgery, ortho, pediatric, family practice, internal medicine).
