Mercy Medical Center Redding seeks a Perioperative Support Tech to support the efficiency and safety of the perioperative area. You will inventory, disassemble, clean, and reassemble OR equipment, transport patients, and help maintain a sterile, organized surgical environment.

Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are required as you work under Standard Precautions. Preferred candidates hold a central sterile/instrument processing course and CPR certification through the

Formación

High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
Basic Life Support (CPR) certified through American Heart Association preferred or required upon hire.
One year perioperative technician experience in an acute care operating room preferred.

Responsabilidades

Inventory, disassemble, clean, reassemble, and maintain OR equipment.
Assist in maintaining a clean OR environment and transport patients.
Follow Standard Precautions and safety standards at all times.
Cleans areas according to environmental standards and department regulations.
Cleans and maintains steam and Steris sterilizers per protocol.
Process stat instruments and assist in case preparation and distribution of supplies; set up orthopedic fracture tables and positioning devices; stock OR rooms.
