Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring an Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN) in Manassas, VA. The role supports CVOR, Circulate, Neuro, Transplant, and other OR areas with on-call requirements as needed.

Shift options include day shifts across full-time, part-time, or per diem openings. Eligible candidates will have 1+ year OR experience, an RN license, and preferred ACLS/PALS credentials. Aseptic technique proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of OR/surgical setting experience preferred.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, PALS certification preferred
• Experience with aseptic and sterile techniques
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff, physicians, patients and families

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery in accordance with AORN standards
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room
• Assist in intra-operative care of the patient by performing nursing and technical duties as assigned
• Monitor patients' vital signs and other physiological parameters during surgery
• Communicate with patients and families about the surgical procedure and postoperative care
