Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring an Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN) in Winter Park, FL. The role supports OR teams across CVOR, Circulate, Neuro, Open heart, Ortho and more; day shift; opportunities for full-time, part-time, or per diem; RN license required.

You will provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgery, maintain a sterile environment, monitor vitals, and communicate with patients and families about procedures and postoperative care.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing.
• Active RN license without encumbrances.
• 1+ years OR/surgical setting preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certification preferred.
• Experience with aseptic techniques.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery in accordance with AORN standards.
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room.
• Assist in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing nursing and technical duties as assigned.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and other physiological parameters during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and their families about the surgical procedure and postoperative care.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: CVOR, Circulate, Neuro, On-call required, Open heart, Ortho, PACU experience, Pediatric, RNFA, Robotic surgery, Scrub, Transplant, or Vascular.
