Job summary

Incredible Health in Lansdale, PA is hiring an Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN) for day, night, and mid shifts. Full-time, part-time, and per diem roles available across CVOR, Circulate, Neuro and other OR areas.

The RN will provide direct perioperative care, maintain aseptic technique, monitor vitals, and support patients and families before, during, and after surgery. RN license required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree.
• Active, unencumbered RN license.
• 1+ years OR/surgical experience preferred.
• ACLS/PALS certification preferred.
• Aseptic/sterile technique proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative patient care before, during, and after surgery.
• Maintain aseptic and safe OR environment.
• Assist intra-operative nursing/technical duties as assigned.
• Monitor vitals and physiological parameters during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and families about procedure and post-op care.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing

• 1+ years of experience in an operating room (OR) or surgical setting preferred
• ACLS, PALS certification preferred
• Experience with aseptic and sterile techniques
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, physicians, patients and families

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery in accordance with AORN standards
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room
• Assist in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing nursing and technical duties as assigned
• Monitor patients' vital signs and other physiological parameters during surgery
• Communicate with patients and their families about the surgical procedure and postoperative care
