Job summary

Incredible Health in Rahway, NJ is seeking an Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN) to support our surgical teams in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualified candidates will hold an ADN or higher nursing degree with an active RN license and 1+ year OR experience. ACLS/PALS certifications are preferred. You will provide skilled perioperative care and contribute to excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of operating room or surgical setting experience preferred.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• ACLS/PALS certification preferred.
• Experience with aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery per AORN standards.
• Maintain an aseptic and safe Operating Room environment.
• Assist in intra-operative patient care by performing nursing and technical duties as assigned.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and physiological parameters during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and families about the procedure and postoperative care.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: CVOR, Circulate, Neuro, On-call required, Open heart, Ortho, PACU experience, Pediatric, RNFA, Robotic surgery, Scrub, Transplant, or Vascular.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing
