Corewell Health operates Troy Hospital’s operating room and seeks a part-time OR technician to support daily equipment needs, assist with setup, and position patients under the surgeon. Training on stealth navigation, robotic systems, and O-Arm is emphasized, with BLS required on hire.

The role shares responsibilities for coordinating with OR staff, ensuring sterile technique, and maintaining device readiness for procedures in Troy, MI. On-site work hours are day shifts with weekend variability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Stealth Navigation, Davinci Robotic, O-Arm training listed.
• PeopleSoft and sterile technique training required? demonstrated.
• AHA or ARC BLS on hire required.

Scope of work

Assists the professional staff with the daily handling of equipment needs in the OR environment. Coordinates PMIs and repairs with appropriate disciplines. Sets up and checks patient equipment prior to case starts. Transfer and position the patient under the direction of the surgeon. Scrubs in to hold cameras, limbs, and retractors, under the direction of the surgeon. THIS IS NOT AN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY POSITION.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Required

• Stealth Navigation Training Course. Davinci Robotic training. People Soft training class. O-Arm training. Sterile Technique training with the OR educator Required

• Experience in the OR Preferred

• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire Required
