Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist II for Troy Hospital in Troy, MI. You will prepare the surgical suite, assist intraoperatively with instruments, and maintain the sterile field, adapting to changing conditions during procedures.

Responsibilities include staying current with surgical procedures and protocols and serving as a preceptor when needed. The role is full-time with a 40-hour workweek and varied shifts, located at our Troy facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma Required
• Associate degree or equivalent Required
• Completion of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or equivalent training program (military, etc.) Not all schools require an associate degree Or 1 year of equivalent experience Required
• Minimum of 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience (Clinical rotations do count as experience) Preferred
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire Required
