Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• On-the-job OR Support Assistant training.
• Six months experience in direct patient care environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation, setup, and cleanup of operating rooms and case carts.
• Transport supplies, carts, and trash to designated areas per protocol.
• Clean and disinfect walls, vents, lights, and common areas in OR suites.
• Assist RN with patient positioning, prepping, and discharge transport.
• Maintain stock of OR supplies and environmental cleaning items.
• Report equipment issues to Nurse Manager or Clinical Partner.
