Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-1 year Medical Office/Hospital experience preferred.
• Must understand written directions for mixing cleaning supplies and ordering supplies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with health care team.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient/family-focused care with cordial greetings and interactions.
• Provides orientation information for guests, patients, and families.
• Demonstrates awareness of hospital systems and locations of departments and services.
• Refers patients and families to appropriate resources.
• Transports and assists in transferring patients.
• Properly identifies patients using two identifiers.
