Job summary

Dartmouth Health is seeking a dedicated OR support technician to maintain the operating room environment and assist the nursing team. You will clean the OR per AORN and regulatory standards, assist with patient transfers, and help position patients on the surgical bed under RN supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of healthcare or customer service experience; LNA/CMA/EMT experience is preferred but not required. Rotating weekend call is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of healthcare and/or customer service experience.
• LNA/CMA/EMT preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning of OR in accordance with AORN and regulatory standards.
• Assist the registered nurse in the lateral transfer of patients.
• Assist with positioning the patient on a surgical bed under the direction of an RN and in accordance with AORN standards.
