Qualifications

• Graduation from a Surgical Technology program.
• BCLS certification required; specialty certification preferred.
• Functions under RN supervision to ensure patient care and manage instruments.
• Communicates effectively with the team and patients.
• Displays initiative and cost containment in instrument and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Renders care to assigned patients under RN direction.
• Prepares and stocks the Operating Room before and after surgery.
• Gathers clean and sterile supplies and sets up sterile instrument fields.
• Maintains aseptic technique and monitors equipment and supplies.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to support patient safety.
