Responsibilities

• Performs general and terminal cleaning in the OR and other areas daily, between procedures, and as required.
• Maintains a clean and orderly environment in the OR.
• Assists with OR procedures by gathering equipment and positioning devices.
• Responsible for reporting equipment and positioning devices that are in need of repair.
• Orders and stocks OR suites and general areas with linens and supplies.
• Restocks various specialty carts as trained.
• Transports carts, instruments, supplies and equipment to various departments as assigned.
• Transports blood/blood products, specimens, and patients as directed.
• Adheres to attendance policy and OR attire policy.
• Maintains annual training requirements.
• Accepts direction.
• Follows written and verbal instructions promptly and accurately.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
