Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System Sugar Land Hospital is seeking an OR Coordinator/Scheduler to manage the Operating Room schedule, coordinate procedures, and support the OR team to maintain efficient workflows. This full-time role requires 10:30am–7pm, Monday–Friday, with 2+ years of OR scheduling experience preferred.

Candidates should be able to read and follow written instructions and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assists with planning, organizing, and scheduling department workload.
• Provides daily performance feedback and assists with hiring and training.
• Inspects facility conditions and ensures safety.
• Assists with patient preparation and environment according to patient needs.
• Transports and transfers patients as necessary.
• Maintains supply delivery and coordination between departments.
• Models service standards and supports department goals.
