Job summary

Vail Valley Surgery Center in Edwards, CO is hiring a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room to support perioperative care in a multispecialty ambulatory setting. The role requires current Colorado RN licensure, ACLS, BLS, and one year of OR experience.

You will participate in procedures, educate families, and ensure patient safety and quality outcomes. A $10,000 sign-on bonus, relocation support, and temporary housing are available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• One year OR experience required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Colorado or from a valid compact state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required for hires after 07/01/2018.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily patient flow to optimize care, safety and satisfaction.
• Triage incoming patient requests and prioritize needs.
• Deliver patient education to facilitate care plans and informed choices.
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist in procedures with patient safety in mind.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, Vail Health, and other teams.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong critical thinking.
