Job summary

Aspen Valley Health in Colorado is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) in the Surgery department. The OR RN delivers professional nursing care, assesses and plans patient care, and collaborates with the surgical team to support the treatment plan.

Qualifications

• ADN required; RN license in Colorado or ability to obtain before start date.
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• BSN/MSN preferred; OR experience beneficial.
• Experience with perioperative care, scrub/circulating roles, and EPIC system.
• Joint Commission accredited facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in the OR per standards and policy.
• Educate patients and families about plan of care and disease management.
• Support treatment plans, collaborate with medical staff, and contribute to quality improvement.
