Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse at Longmont United Hospital. You will circulate for a diverse caseload in a high-volume OR, ensuring safety, quality care, and efficient processing through cross-training with Pre-Op and Recovery as needed.

You will work with a supportive team in a mission-driven environment, delivering compassionate care and upholding nursing standards per state requirements.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing required.
• RN License in state of employment.
• Physical requirements: Medium work, lift up to 50 lbs, frequent and occasional lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with interdisciplinary team.
• Perform TERPs including IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Maintain patient charts accurately and confidentially; use IT to communicate and support decision-making.
• Promote patient safety and advocate for patient rights.
• Educate patients and families based on learning needs and effectiveness of teaching.

Education

Associates Degree in Nursing

Nursing Diploma or by endorsement

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
