Job summary

South Denver Surgery Center is seeking a motivated OR Registered Nurse to join our team.

The OR RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for all age patients in operating room. Provides care within nursing standards and the Center's policies. May have additional responsibilities designated by the Nurse Manager/Director of Nursing, including committees and quality improvement projects. $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current state nursing license or compact license required.
• CPR required; ACLS due within six months of hire.
• One year experience in intra-operative setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care in the operating room.
• Communicate patient care needs to physicians, family members and team.
• May serve on committees and participate in quality improvement audits.
