Job summary

CommonSpirit Health in Garden City, KS seeks a Registered Nurse to provide circulating support in the Operating Room at St. Catherine Hospital. You will assist across General, Orthopedics, GYN, C-Sections, and more, ensuring patient safety and efficient room turnover.

In this role you will work with a multidisciplinary team, perform intraoperative tasks, educate patients and families, and uphold the hospital’s mission of compassionate care. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma/endorsement.
• RN license in state of employment.
• Physical requirements: medium work; lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, 10 lbs constantly.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop plan of care with interdisciplinary team.
• Provide intraoperative circulating support and manage sterile instruments.
• Promote patient advocacy and safety, document status and outcomes.
• Educate patients/families and assess learning readiness.
