Job summary

This role includes evaluations of patients before surgery, providing education, and preparing patients with critical responsibilities in the Operating Room. Applicants should have a current Colorado RN license, BLS certification, and at least one year of OR experience. The position offers an hourly wage estimate from $36.50 to $55.25, with a possible sign-on bonus up to $20,000 for experienced RNs.

Qualifications

• Requires licensure in Colorado as Registered Nurse or multi-state license.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in perioperative (OR) setting required.
• ACLS and PALS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide patient education regarding the procedure.
• Prepare patients for surgery including IV therapy and medications.
• Participate in surgical site verification and protocols.
• Respond to patient emergencies and provide high-quality care.
• Communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Skills

Current licensure as Registered Nurse

Basic Life Support certification
