Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, CO is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. You will assess, plan, and implement patient care in a fast-paced OR, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

The role requires 1+ year of surgical OR experience, an RN license, BLS, and the ability to work a Day shift. A sign-on bonus is offered; comprehensive benefits are provided as part of the full-time package.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing (RN) required
• BLS CPR certification required
• Registered Nurse (RN) with state license
• 1+ year OR surgical experience required

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and develop care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for continuous care
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed
• Document care activities accurately
• Educate patients and families about conditions and post-discharge care
• Advocate for patient safety and prevent risks
• Maintain sterile environment and safety procedures
• Perform IO/IVs, wound care, catheterization, specimen collection
• Provide emotional support to patients and families during recovery
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
