Job summary

Bucks County Surgical Suites Highpoint is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to provide patient care during surgery, position and prep patients, and circulate cases. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for all age patients in the operating room and communicate with physicians, patients, family members, and other team members.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active PA RN license.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS required on hire and within one year of hire.
• Ability to scrub and circulate as needed.
• One year experience in intra-operative setting.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership and teaching.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient, prep the patient and circulate the case during surgery.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients in the OR.
• Communicate with physicians, patients, family and other departments.
• Contribute to quality improvement activities as designated.
