Job summary
Bucks County Surgical Suites Highpoint in Pennsylvania is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to support surgical cases, position and prep patients, and circulate during procedures. The role requires broad nursing skills and the ability to work across age groups in the OR.
Qualified candidates will be a graduate of an accredited RN program with a PA license and BLS/ACLS/PALS within hire or within one year. Intra-operative experience and strong clinical leadership are preferred.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
- Active RN license in PA
- BLS, ACLS, or PALS required upon hire and within one year of hiring date
- Ability to Scrub and Circulate as needed
- One year experience in intra-operative setting
- Demonstrates clinical competency and teaching capabilities
Responsibilities
- Positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case
- Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for all age patients in the OR
- Communicates with physicians, patients, families and other departments
- May serve on committees or participate in quality improvement projects
