Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in an operating room setting.
• Active RN license required by state of employment.
• ACLS and PALS required within 6 months.
• BCLS certification required at employment; online certification not acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care and access; assist physicians and staff.
• Schedule appointments, procedures, tests and referrals; coordinate patient flow.
• Serve as preceptor for clinical staff when needed; collaborate with health care team.
• Document all patient care activities per standards; ensure quality and safety in care delivery.
• Provide holistic, culturally sensitive care and advocate for patient rights.
