Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Per license requirements.
• Proficient in the English language, verbal and written communication skills, computer skills.
• Current Louisiana State license as RN and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care following established standards and practices.
• Assist physicians and staff with the daily coordination of patient care and patient access.
• Coordinate patient flow, schedules, procedures, tests and referrals.
• May serve as preceptor for clinical staff.
• All patient care activities are accurately documented per documentation standards; assist healthcare team with the documentation process as needed.
• Actively participates in quality improvement initiatives by utilizing standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.
