Job summary

BayCare Health System in Tampa is seeking an experienced RN for the Operating Room Pool (Days) at St. Joseph's Women's Hospital.

You will provide nursing care for a sub-specialty surgical group, using the nursing process and maintaining clinical standards. This role requires OR experience, a valid RN license, BLS, ACLS if required by department, and the ability to work a 48-hour six-week schedule with on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years RN experience.
• At least 18 months operating room experience required.
• Current BLS certification, RN license; ACLS if required by department.
• Preferred Nurse Specialty.

Responsibilities

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization.
• RN also preforms the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
