BayCare Health System in Plant City, FL is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (Days) to join the South Florida Baptist Hospital surgical team. This in-person role requires strong clinical abilities and leadership to support day shifts.

The RN will care for patients in a sub-specialty area, mentor staff, and serve as a preceptor/charge nurse as assigned, with a minimum of 2 years RN experience and at least 1 year in the OR.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years RN experience with at least 1 year in Operating Room.
• Professional accountability and development per best practice standards.

Responsibilities

• Care for a sub-specialty group of patients with managerial skills.
• Serve as a mentor and resource for team members.
• Act as preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
• Maintain professional standards and collaboration with the surgical team.
