Job summary

Central Indiana Orthopedics (CIO) is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room to support perioperative care across a busy orthopedic network within SCA Health. The role emphasizes patient assessment, care planning, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality perioperative services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• BLS certification within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS.
• PALS certification required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
