Job summary

SCA Health in Pensacola, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room to support perioperative care. You will assess patients, develop perioperative plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality care.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program with valid RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within 90 days, and PALS if pediatric care is included. One year of OR or medical/surgical experience is preferred, with perioperative certification

Qualifications

• RN licensure in good standing to practice in the state.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification, ACLS within 90 days or documented.
• PALS required if pediatric care is included.
• Specialty perioperative nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout perioperative care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative plan of care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative care.
