Job summary

University of Miami seeks an experienced registered nurse to assess patients, document care plans, and coordinate with physicians and the care team. You will monitor vital signs, report changes, and adjust treatments guided by patient responses and orders.

Responsibilities include administering medications safely, reviewing diagnostics, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant communication with patients and families. A BSN and active RN license are required, with BLS, ACLS, and PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required; CNOR preferred.
• RN license and BLS; ACLS and PALS beneficial.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and evaluate plans with documentation of nursing care.
• Report symptoms, changes, and vitals to the care team.
• Modify treatment plans per patient response and physician orders.
• Review diagnostics to assess patient condition.
• Consult with physicians and healthcare team on care plans.
