Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville seeks an experienced RN Circulator for the Joint and Orthopedic Operating Room. This full-time day shift role supports surgeons by handling instruments, monitoring patient status, and coordinating perioperative care.

Qualified candidates hold a Tennessee RN license or compact license, with ACLS/BLS certification, and a nursing diploma. Prior circulator experience is preferred, with benefits including health coverage, tuition reimbursement, and earned

Qualifications

Active RN license in Tennessee or a multi-state compact recognized license.
ACLS or BLS certification within required timeframe after hire.
Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

Performs scrub functions including instrument and supply handling for procedures.
Performs circulating functions: monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and overall nursing care.
Assists operating physician with surgical tasks including hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure and patient positioning.
Prepares operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use.
