Job summary

Westlawn Surgery Center in Murfreesboro, TN is hiring a full-time Operating Room Registered Nurse to support orthopedic surgery. The Circulating RN will position and prep patients and circulate the case, ensuring patient safety and adherence to OR protocols.

Requirements include three years of OR/circulating experience, orthopedic background, and a current TN RN license with BLS/ACLS; CNOR preferred. No weekends, holidays, or call. Westlawn offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school or professional nursing.
• Three years of OR/circulating experience
• Must have orthopedic experience
• Current unrestricted TN RN license
• BLS and ACLS required
• CNOR preferred
• Critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to the operating room.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient during surgery.
• Prepare the patient for the case.
• Circulate the case and maintain the sterile field and safety protocols.
