Job summary

UT Medical Center Orthopaedic Institute is hiring a Full-Time OR Day Shift RN Circulator to support orthopedic procedures at the region's only academic medical center and Level I Trauma Center.

The role requires RN licensure, ASN, and 2+ years of RN experience, with BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. BSN preferred. Schedule includes Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday days with call/holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure through the Board of Nursing.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide RN Circulator support for orthopaedic surgical procedures.
• Prepare the operating room with equipment, supplies, and documentation.
• Coordinate patient care before, during, and after surgery.
• Maintain patient safety and advocacy throughout the surgical experience.
• Complete surgical counts and specimen handling per protocol.
