Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state of employment; BLS.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Proficient in operating computer functions and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance, quality initiatives, and evidence-based practice to improve care.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and accurate documentation in EHR.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Pursues professional development and maintains required certifications.
