Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Illinois is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification per policy.
• Ability to position/transfer an average adult patient.
• Able to stand for prolonged periods and perform IV/IM injections.
• Exposure to blood, bodily fluids and hazardous materials is possible.

Responsibilities

• Prepare room, transfer patient from pre-op and position for surgery.
• Maintain charting and care for patient before, during and after surgery.
• Communicate with family with regular updates during procedures.
• Support coordination with team and handling supplies and meds for sterile field.
