Springfield Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for perioperative care in the Main Operating Room. You will prepare the room, transfer patients, and support the surgical team through the procedure and post-op phases.

You will maintain charting, update families hourly, and administer meds to the sterile field. This Magnet hospital emphasizes high-quality care and teamwork in a fast-paced environment with advanced robotics.

Qualifications

• Licensed as RN in Illinois required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification per policy.
• Ability to position and transfer patients.
• Endurance for prolonged standing and fast-paced care.
• Proficient in IV/IM procedures.

Responsabilités

• Prepare the OR and position the patient for surgery.
• Care for the patient before, during and after the procedure.
• Maintain accurate charting and timely updates to family.
• Administer meds to the sterile field as needed.
• Support the team through 1–4 surgeries daily in a fast-paced setting.
