Job summary

GBMC HealthCare in Towson, MD, seeks a registered nurse to provide direct patient care under general supervision. You will develop nursing care plans, administer treatments, and coordinate daily patient flow while mentoring staff under the Clinical Nurse Manager.

A strong emphasis on patient experience, safety, and teamwork is required. Requirements include an associate degree in nursing, Maryland RN license, CPR, and a BSN within 3 years if not already held.

Qualifications

• RN license current with Maryland Board of Examiners of Nurses.
• CPR certification current (biennial).
• ACLS/PALS/NRP or specialty certifications upon hire.
• 3 years clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision.
• Develop, implement and evaluate nursing plans of care.
• Administer medications and IV therapy as required.
• Coordinate daily patient assignments and workflows.
• Lead unit activities and supervise staff with the Clinical Nurse Manager guidance.
• Engage in patient teaching, discharge planning and quality improvement.
