Dallas Regional Medical Center is recruiting an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room to provide direct patient care and lead surgical teams. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR staff.

Requirements include an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS (preferred), and at least 5 years in an acute care OR with supervisory exposure. A BSN is preferred; CNOR within 2 years is advantageous.

Competenze

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS upon hire and maintain current, preferred
• Previous supervisory experience, one to two years, in acute care hospital Surgical OR setting, preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an acute care operating room preferred
• CNOR within 2 years, preferred
• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN), preferred

Mansioni

• Provide safe patient care and clinical leadership within the surgical environment using the nursing process.
• Coordinate staff assignments, surgical schedules, and daily operating room workflow.
• Direct and guide nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional care, patient safety, and infection prevention.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Respond quickly and accurately to clinical concerns, staffing needs, and changes in workflow.
