Job summary

Dallas Regional Medical Center in Terrell, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe patient care and clinical leadership in the operating room. This role coordinates staff, schedules, and daily OR workflow in collaboration with surgeons and anesthesia providers.

Ideal candidates hold an active TX RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS (preferred), plus 5+ years in an acute care OR and supervisory experience. CNOR within 2 years (preferred).

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS upon hire and maintain current, preferred
• Previous supervisory experience, one to two years, in acute care hospital Surgical OR setting, preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an acute care operating room preferred
• CNOR within 2 years, preferred
• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN), preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient care and clinical leadership within the surgical environment.
• Coordinate staff assignments, surgical schedules, and daily operating room workflow.
• Direct and guide nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional care, patient safety, and infection prevention.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other team members to address changes in patient condition and operational needs.
