Job summary

Dallas Regional Medical Center in Garland, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe patient care and clinical leadership within the surgical environment, coordinating staff assignments, surgical schedules, and daily operating room workflow in collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the broader interdisciplinary team.

The role requires a current state RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS (preferred), with 5+ years in an acute care OR; CNOR within 2 years preferred and a BSN is

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certification at hire, maintain current.
• ACLS certification within 30 days, maintain current.
• PALS certification at hire, preferred.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience in acute care OR, preferred.
• Minimum 5 years OR experience in acute care.
• CNOR within 2 years, preferred.
• BSN degree, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient care in surgical environment and lead nursing team.
• Coordinate staff assignments, surgical schedules, and OR workflow.
• Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and infection prevention.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and support staff.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and workflow.
