Job summary

Dallas Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room to provide safe patient care and lead surgical teams. You will coordinate staffing, schedules, and daily OR workflow while collaborating with surgeons and anesthesia providers to ensure high-quality care.

The role requires a valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, and preferred PALS. Prior OR supervision and BSN are highly regarded, with a sign-on bonus offered for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS upon hire and maintain current, preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience in acute care hospital Surgical OR setting, preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an acute care operating room preferred.
• CNOR within 2 years, preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient care and clinical leadership within the surgical environment.
• Coordinate staff assignments, surgical schedules, and OR workflow.
• Direct and guide nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care and infection prevention.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, technologists and other team members.

Education

Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN)

Current and valid state RN License

CNOR within 2 years

Current BLS on hire and maintain

Current ACLS on hire and maintain

Current PALS on hire and maintain (preferred)

5 years OR operating room experience (preferred)

1-2 years supervisory experience (preferred)
