Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice; compact licenses must transfer within 60 days.
• RNs with <12 months experience must obtain BSN within 4 years of hire.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• BSN degree from an accredited institution; degree will be verified.
• BSN is required as of the last update (4/27/2025); prior hires are grandfathered to previous requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status using the nursing process and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Plan individualized care and involve patient and family education and referrals as needed.
• Implement care and coordinate with the care team, manage time, supplies, and resources.
• Evaluate patient responses, adjust care plans as necessary, document outcomes.
• Promote nursing professionalism, adhere to regulatory standards and ethical practices.
