Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room in Minnesota. The role focuses on assessing perioperative patient status and developing individualized plans of care, while contributing to a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality surgical services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of employment or current certification.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment or current ACLS certification.
• PALS if pediatric care is included within 90 days of employment or current PALS certification.
• Perioperative Nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
