Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice; compact licenses must be transferred within 60 days.
• RNs with less than 12 months experience must obtain BSN within four years of hire date.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• BSN is required as of the last update on 4/27/2025; some hires/promotions prior to that date remain under previous requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, social, and psychological status and collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Plan individualized care with patient, family involvement and education.
• Implement care by directing the interdisciplinary team and managing time, supplies, and resources.
• Evaluate patient responses and revise care plans as needed.
• Promote professionalism, comply with regulatory standards, and document accurately.
