Required: BSN, IL RN license, BLS, strong interpersonal and analytical skills; ADN may be accepted with commitment to obtain BSN within 3 years. ER experience and related certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required and IL RN licensure.
• Current Illinois RN license and BLS certification.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills; analytic abilities.
• ADN acceptable with commitment to obtain BSN within 3 years of employment.
• Preferred: ER-related experience and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data, develops an individualized plan and coordinates care.
• Directs care and utilizes nursing staff appropriately.
• Collaborates with patient, family, physicians and staff; documents care plans.
• Participates in governance, committees, and unit projects.
• Evaluates patient responses and updates the care plan accordingly.
• Uses evidence to guide nursing practice.
