Job summary

Tufts Medical Center in Boston is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity perioperative team. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, residents, and fellows to deliver safe, evidence-based care throughout the surgical journey.

Qualifications

• RN license and BLS certification required.
• ACLS/PALS certifications may be required for the department.
• BSN preferred for comprehensive perioperative care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in the perioperative setting.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to ensure safe, evidence-based care.
• Administer medications and monitor patient response during the surgical pathway.
• Document care activities and participate in quality and safety initiatives.
