Job summary
Jefferson Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room, full-time day shift at Abington Memorial Hospital. Prior OR experience in circulating or scrubbing is preferred, with two options for (4) 10-hour shifts.
Candidate must have a Specialized Nursing Diploma and Pennsylvania RN license with BLS. Strong teamwork, communication, and adherence to evidence-based practice are essential for delivering high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Specialized Diploma from an accredited nursing program is required.
- PA RN license and BLS certification are required.
- Experience in operating room nursing is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with patients and family to provide education and support.
- Assist in delivery of care and follow established nursing practices.
- Utilize health IT to communicate, document, and monitor patient outcomes.
- Work within interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, compassionate care.
- Participate in safety and quality improvement activities.
