Job summary

East Cooper Medical Center in Mount Pleasant, SC, part of Novant Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This PRN role requires collaboration with physicians and the care team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, following policies and procedures to promote optimal outcomes.

The RN leads with compassion, demonstrates clinical excellence, and remains accountable for care in accordance with departmental standards and practice guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
• If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.

Responsibilities

• The RN serves as a leader of the healthcare team, collaborating with physicians and the care team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized care.
• Promotes optimal health or supports a peaceful death, using evidence-based practice and compassion.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred

If RN license inactive >5 years, refresher course required for reinstatement
