Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at Banner Fort Collins Medical Center. The RN will circulate surgery cases and provide patient care on a day shift, Monday through Friday, 5:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Minimum qualifications include an active RN license, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications with at least one year of recent acute care experience. Banner Staffing Services roles are assignment-based and do not include comprehensive

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications may be required based on area of practice.
• Minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs.
• Formulates a plan of care and discharge plan with input from patient and health team.
• Implements the plan through direct patient care and coordination of team activities.
• Evaluates responses to care and revises the plan as needed.
• Documents assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the patient record.
• Contributes to quality improvement and staff education when appropriate.
• Interacts with multiple departments and care providers to support patient care.
