Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the University City Operating Room team. The RN will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in alignment with established standards and procedures.

Requirements include completing an accredited nursing program, holding an active RN license, BLS certification, and at least one year of OR experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state where the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
• At least one year of previous operating room experience strongly preferred to be eligible for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuity.
